MATT LUTZ

Founder & President

Matt Lutz is the Founder and President of Music Benefactors. Matt started Music Benefactors to help independent music projects get funded and give all investors the opportunity to invest in asset classes previously only available to institutions. He is the former Founder and CEO of Allegheny Exchange, an investment platform for alternative assets, such as tax liens, non-performing loans, music royalties and mineral rights. He has become an authority on private and alternative assets, speaking at several investment conferences. Matt has been featured on the podcast, The Business Side of Music and  interviewed by Forbes Magazine.

Karen Johnson is a seasoned investment professional with a wide range of experience across the brokerage, finance, intellectual property and real estate sectors. She has worked in New York City at various investment firms including Salomon Brothers where she excelled in both in international bond economics and bond trading.

TERRY BALAGIA

Chief Marketing Officer

Terry Balagia started his career in advertising. Terry rose to the ranks of executive creative director and major agencies including McCann Erickson, Grey, Saatchi and Publicis in NYC, LA and Canada. After a celebrated career writing and creating numerous national advertising campaigns for clients like Toyota, Nabisco and Activision and winning more than his share of creative awards, Terry’s accomplishments include giving Michael Bay his very first commercial and coming up with the name Call Of Duty for Activision which went on to become the largest selling video game in a competitive industry.

Former CFO of Unibail Rodamco Westfield (France & Dutch listed public company), and owner of Westfield Shopping Malls, the largest public real estate company in Europe, with $72bn in assets and revenues over $3.3bn. Prior was Director, Audit for Deloitte
